the other half of the one that I cut into was good. This half was extremely bitter. We ate one of the other tiny ones and it was also good.

It’s a Charentais. A friend told me that the melons wouldn’t sweeten without warm nights. We’ve had some down to 41 degrees. It’s currently 10:30pm, 72 degrees, and very windy. We get some varied weather here!

AHHH. The nights are getting much cooler here now. Better for sleeping but dread having to bring the plants inside.
